String of Hearts is extremely forgiving when left alone. Most problems come from watering too often.

Water

• Allow soil to dry completely between waterings.
• Water thoroughly, then allow the pot to fully dry
• Overwatering → root rot (most common issue)
• Underwatering → shriveled leaves or slowed growth
• If you’re unsure whether to water, wait.  This plant tolerates drought far better than wet roots.

• If vines are healthy and growing, do not move the plant.

Temperature & Humidity

• Ideal temperature: 60–80°F (16–27°C)
• Average indoor humidity is sufficient
• Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature drops.

• Best options: cactus or succulent mix. Optional added perlite for extra drainage.
• Drainage is essential. This plant does not tolerate soggy soil.
