Your Plant Made It Home — Start Here 🌱
Whether your plant was shipped or delivered locally, it just experienced a change in environment. A short adjustment period is completely normal — and usually temporary.
Take a breath. You’re doing the right things already.
The First 48 Hours
• Unpack your plant right away (if packaged).
• Place it in bright, indirect light.
• Don’t repot immediately.
• Wait a few days before watering (unless the soil is bone dry).
Giving your plant time to settle helps reduce stress and supports healthy growth.
This Is Normal After Travel or Transport
• Drooping
• A tired or “sad” appearance
• Minor cosmetic leaf damage
These signs don’t mean your plant is failing — they mean it’s adjusting to a new space. Locally delivered plants may adjust more quickly, but the same care applies.
Looking for Specific Care?
Search your plant’s name in the Plant Care Library to find care instructions specific to your plant.
If your plant came with a tag, you can also scan the QR code to get there quickly.
You don’t need a green thumb — just a little patience.
Thank you for supporting a small plant business 💚
This page is always here if you ever misplace your plant tag.
